2008 NFL Junior Player Development Camp

PLAINFIELD JUNIOR CATS FOOTBALL PROUDLY PRESENTS THE 2008 NFL JUNIOR PLAYER DEVELOPMENT CAMP FOR ALL PLAYERS 10-14 YEARS OLD

2008 NFL Junior Player Development Camp

JPD integrates on-field skills development with life skills and character development. As youngsters plan for future high school interscholastic activities, participants receive instruction from NFL-selected high school coaches, as well as counseling that focuses around a variety of life skills, such as responsibility, goal-setting, sportsmanship, self-control, smart moves, and teamwork. Each life skill addressed through the context of football allows coaches to make the connection between life skills as they are applied on the field, in school, at home and in the community.

ANY QUESTION, PLEASE CONTACT TERRY HUGHES (630) 903-5780

Who are the coaches? JPD coaches are local college and high school coaches, former Collegiate/NFL players and dedicated volunteer coaches who want to help today’s youth. JPD coaches are required to attend JPD training to insure curriculum objectives are met.

Who provides transportation to practice? The parents or legal guardian are responsible for transportation To and From the practice field location.

What is JPD? JPD was developed by the NFL to provide an instructional template for middle school level football programs as well as additional access to youth tackle football. The program provides step-by-step instruction for every offensive & defensive position in a fun and engaging environment. Participants will hear messages on the field addressing life skills and character development. Each life skill theme is addressed through the context of football with instructors making connections between life skills as they are applied on the field, in school, at home and in the community.
